Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing & Community Relations the Marketing Representative will help develop creative marketing strategies and campaigns to grow our company image. You will be required to coordinate and execute the functions of your department under the supervision of your director. Your job will also include performing research studies, recording information and data, and assisting with community health functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least18 years of age.
  • Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
  • Effective organization skills
  • Ability to work independently with general direction and guidance
  • Experience in creating, developing and publishing brochures, pamphlets, radio and newspaper ads, and other forms of communication.
  • Ability to create, develop and make recommendations of innovative concepts and ideas to communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office experience)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
  • An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.

  • Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
  • Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
  • Four (4) year college degree, or (4) years of experience in marketing, public relations, community relations, business administration, health care administration, or similar disciplines.
  • Prior experience as a marketing assistant or similar job posts.
  • Multi-tasker with good time management skills.
  • Strong communication and people skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in healthcare or nonprofit marketing
  • Previous experience with multiple digital media platforms
  • Previous experience with marketing software and online tools (Web Analytics, Google Adwords, CRM tools, etc.)
  • Previous experience organizing and multitask multiple deadlines and projects.

Position Classification: Non-exempt

Compensation Range: $18.00 to $24.20
