Medical Billing Specialist [United States]

The billing support analyst will be responsible for accurate & timely processing of customer billings, collections management, setting up jobs & managing billings for large construction jobs, setting up & renewing preventative maintenance contracts, and participating in various projects associated with the Mechanical business. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, with strong trouble shooting and analytical skills. This role will report to the Sr. VP of Finance for the Mechanical Division and will work closely with Operations and Accounting to perform their daily activities.

Accountabilities

Accurate customer billings, including AIA billings associated with construction jobs
Processing Contract Renewals
Preparing Sales Commission Reports
Setting up construction jobs and other projects
Customer collections
Monitoring & responding to the AR customer email in-box.
Maintaining & documenting accurate work instructions for all tasks
Participating in finance & business projects as required
Filing of lien waivers
Skills/Competencies

Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Outlook.
Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and organized.
Strong ability/experience working directly with field operations.
Experience with AIA Billing Processes preferred.
Experience working with various customer portals preferred.
High level of commitment/ownership to one’s work product.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Commitment to service excellence.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable learning new software & technology tools
Understanding of lien waivers. Qualifications/Education

At least a high school diploma, preference for candidates that have completed some college coursework in accounting.
5+ years related hands-on AR/Billing and Collections Management experience
Industry knowledge of the Mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) businesses plus. Supervisory Responsibility

Rate of Pay: 50-60K (DOE)
