City Carrier Assistant (CCA)
CCAs deliver and collect mail on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions in a prescribed area and maintain professional and effective public relations with customers and others, requiring a general familiarity with postal laws, regulations, products, and procedures commonly used, and geography of the area.

- Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving
- Hours will vary and will include holidays and weekends
- You will perform work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, sleet, ice, snow, cold and heat, and you may encounter animals and insects too
- Your duties will be physically demanding requiring moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching and walking
- You may be required to learn and become proficient in delivery of mail on other routes and/or other offices
- You will provide mail security at all times
- You must follow established safe work methods and procedures
