Job Summary


The Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) in Anoka is seeking to add an Office & Administrative Specialist Intermediate (OASI) to our team. As the OASI you will provide administrative support to both clients and staff and act as a receptionist for the facility.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answer phones
  • Deliver client and staff mail
  • Maintain current census reporting
  • Accounts receivable and payable for vendor accounts
  • Attend staff and leadership meetings to record minutes when requested/necessary
  • Maintain client records and keep current from the time of admission to discharge
  • Serve as a backup to the Health Information Management Services team and client funding.
  • Purchasing for site medical and client supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
  • Data entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases.
  • Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and via email.
  • Word processing skills to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports; write and edit a variety of documents in business English using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Typing/keyboarding skills sufficient to take meeting minutes, complete a variety of reports, letters, and data summaries.
